Pumkin patch for preschool.....

Cody's preschool class went to the pumpkin patch
today, for their field trip. Cody has
been excited for weeks. As you can see, he
is still excited.

They pet ponies then went on the tractor hay ride out
to the pumpkin patch.

He found himself a perfect little orange pumpkin.

Then to the next important thing.....snacks! Teacher had
brought donuts and cider for them. They were
happy as can be.

Lastly, they played in the corn. Cody came up
with the idea for everyone to bury him.

We had tons of fun.
Here's the whole cute class...

The "City"....

So, in 3rd grade, kids have to participate in what's called
the "city" project. Each child designs there home
that they make and put together at school. At home
they are responsible for choosing a business
to design and make, with the assistance of
their parents. Well, it gets kind of crazy
and the things people make are so good. It was
tiring and fun to help our little ones make this. They could
do one separately or make one together. They decided
they wanted to make one together (with a little persuasion from their
mom and dad). They decided to do a city pool and name
it "Petersen's Pool". We spent hours on it, and I think
it turned out really cute. They were proud of it, and that's
all that matters.

Once they are all due, and turned in, the teachers
put together "the city", in the gym. They invite
all the families to come and check it all out. It
was quite impressive, and so fun to see.

It took up most of the gym.

They got lost of compliments and were so happy (we were
just happy to be done). So proud of our
little....I mean big.... 3rd graders!
We love you Ashley and Jordan!

Jordan's optimist football....

Jordan is in Optimist football this year. It's his last year
of flag.....he will do tackle next year (which he
is SO excited for) Nathan helped coach
him this year, and it's been great for him. Jordan
is our #24.....

Here is one of his first games, and this is him
getting an interception. He does awesome
on defense. He is also great, and
learning a lot on offense. He is their
quarterback, and loves playing that
position.

He is our hustler, and is amazing at getting
flags. He's got sticky hands when
it comes to pulling flags.

We sure love our Jordan. We especially love
watching him do things he loves, and right
now, that is football. Way to go
Jordan!

Cody's first field trip....

Cody is in an official preschool this year. He is so excited
about all the field trips they will be taking. They
go on one field trip a month. This was his
first field trip and it was to the nature
center downtown Boise. He loved every minute
of it.
Here he is with his teacher and whole class.

He loved the bears and wasn't too sure about touching them.

Thought this was funny....He just sat there and stared at it.

They have this cool thing for kids to play with. The water
comes down the gravel and the kids
can play in it with dinosaurs. They loved it.

At the end of preschool, their teacher has them give her
a big group hug. I thought it was pretty cute.
Thanks Teacher Howard for being a great teacher!
