Feeding ducks at the park......

Ok, so I know I have not blogged in a while. I have been sick with pnemonia, yes pnemonia, for the last two weeks. I know, who still gets pnemonia these days....well, I guess I do. It knocked me out for a while. I am feeling much better, and ready to blog some more.
Our lives have not been too interesting for the last while. We have two soccer practices, and two games every week, so right now it seems that's all we're doing. We are having fun with it, but I am sure you don't really want to see soccer blogs every week. So I will try to come up with some different photos.
FYI- Ashley scored 5 goals at her last game, and Jordan scored 9 goals. They are both doing awesome, and love it. :)

We went down to Ann Morrison Park today to feed the ducks. The weather was so nice we couldn't stay inside. My kids loved it. It's the first time Cody has seen ducks, and he was so excited, and fearless.
Ashley loved feeding the ducks. She kept getting so close to the water, I was sure she was going to fall in.

Cody pretty much tried to chase them the whole time. He couldn't figure out why they kept running away from him. He kept putting his arms out to them, as to give them a hug. He got pretty close to a couple of them.

We had fun!

Soccer for the first time!

Ashley and Jordan both had their first soccer games today. They were so excited. They are on different teams, and they love it. Ashley did really well, she scored the first three goals, and then two more goals out of a total of eleven. She does really well, but does not like me yelling at her from the sidelines. It is so hard for me not to yell. She said, "mom, I can't make goals with you yelling at me". Even though I am just cheering her on, she doesn't like it.

She loves all the girls on her team. They all get a long really well. She is so funny, she is so serious out on the field. She makes a goal, and still doesn't smile. I can't figure her out sometimes. She said she loves playing, so I guess that's all that matters.

Jordan also was very good. This is him throwing the ball in from out of bounds. He, on the other hand, is so different than Ashley. He is out there the whole time with a big smile on his face. He is so cute. He just makes me laugh.

Jordan ended up making five of their fourteen goals, so he did awesome too. Everyone on the team calls him "Big J", it's really cute. You could hear the boys on the sidelines saying, "man, big J is doing really good". It was fun to watch.

Then of course Cody had fun running on the sidelines. Ashley was good about playing with him.

Happy Birthday Cody!!!!!

So Cody had his 2nd birthday this last Sunday, and since the kid is obsessed with Lightning Mcqueen, I decided to make his cake. I had fun doing it, and I think he really liked it.

As you can see, he was pretty happy.......for now!

He liked opening his presents. He got some fun stuff. Lots of Mcqueen stuff. He walked around all day saying, "a keen.....get down". Which is suppose to be "Mcqueen, ca-chow" He is so funny!

He didn't like everyone singing Happy Birthday to him (he gets embarrassed), so he decided to scream his head off. It was pretty funny. He didn't want any of the cake either. Oh well, it was still cute if I do say so myself.

Fun in the sun!

We had fun playing at the park the other afternoon. I took this picture myself.

Nathan and the kids were having fun playing with our dog on the grass. They stopped to pose for me.

Easter Sunday...

We decided to go with yellow and blue.

Nathan wanted to be in the picture also. :)

Of course all the pictures I take are blurry....sorry!
