Cody is now the big "5"

Our baby, Cody, just turned 5. He is so much
joy in our lives. He is a happy, and fun
child, who loves to laugh. He
was so excited for this birthday, knowing he
was turning 5 and starting kindergarten
in the Fall.
He is growing up too fast for me. Sure
wish he would just stay my "baby".

First thing in the morning, he came out pretty happy..
especially to see the house decorated for just him.
With Nathan home from work, we
decided to let him open his
presents first thing. So he could enjoy
them the whole day.

One gift was a Super Mario shirt, which he
was VERY excited about. It's about
two sizes too big (only one they had), but
he didn't seem to mind.
(Ashley took pic, hence the head cut off. LOL)

I think Ashley and Jordan were just as excited as
he was. They were so happy to see
him open his gifts and see his cake.

So the cake..... This year it didn't turn out too well. I was
pretty bummed, but at least Cody was happy
with it. Rather than tell me what
he wanted, he wanted me to surprise him. So
I decided to "try" a Bowser cake. Anyone
with little boys that play video games,
knows who Bowser is.
Look at that smile. He loved it...

Our big, little 5 year old. We sure
love our Cody!
