What was I thinking?????.......

Anyone that know me, knows I am NOT an animal person,
at all. Don't really want to be around them, pet
them, and especially not have them in my house.
So yes, it is crazy that I now have a kitten, IN MY HOUSE!

Our kids are SO happy, and don't ever leave her alone.
How could I deny those cute faces....
By cute faces, I mean my kids....of course....

A whole new bathroom.....kinda...

We have lived in our house for a while,
and some much needed "updating", was
needing to take place. I took down
all the bathroom accessories, and lights,
and painted them a nice bronze color.
Goodbye shiny gold and silver!

(First few pics are the "befores".)

It makes the bathroom look so much better.
Yay for updating!

The Happiest (and most expensive) place on Earth....

We decided to drive to Disneyland, instead of fly.
Try and save some money.
Yes, it was a long drive, but our kids did great.
Our sweet Jordan, rubbing his brothers head while he sleeps.
So cute.

(Warning: Picture overload!)
(and pics are in random order)

First day in California, we didn't plan to go to Disneyland yet,
so we decided to go to the beach. Our kids
have never been to a "warm" beach.
It was beautiful.

Ashley and Jordan were excited to see Mary Poppins.
She was fun.

Buzz Light Year ride.
Cody loved it.

The Aladdin show. It was AMAZING!

We looked everywhere for Sulley, and finally found him
the last day. Yay!

There is a "Jedi training", where they choose kids out of
the audience to come up and train how
to be a "Jedi", then they each
get to fight Darth Vader or Darth Maul.
This was THE highlight of Disneyland, for Cody.
You have to shout and jump up and down,
and hope that they choose you to come up.

Cody fighting Darth Vader. He was so happy.
And he "won", by the way.... ;)

Lines, lines. We can't complain too much. The
lines were actually great. We didn't
ever have to wait more than 15 minutes for a ride.
So we experienced each ride a few times.

Another highlight for Cody. He was so
happy to see these two.

This show was actually really fun. It was "Bug's Life." 3-D and very interactive.
Water shooting, smells, pokes, bugs squirming around you.
So much fun....

This had to be one of our FAVORITE rides. It's in
California Adventure, and it's the Toy Story 3-D ride.
We went on this about 5 times.
I had the highest score every time...thank you very much.
(My husband was so mad)

See how happy (and goofy), they are.

Aahhh....the princesses. This was probably the longest wait
we had. About 35 minutes to see a few princesses.....
but it had to be done..for Ashley. Well, we thought
only for Ashley. Turns out Cody was pretty excited too.
He wanted to hold Belle's hand.

Tiana, from Princess and the Frog.

Ariel
That is one happy boy. Ha!

Ashley's favorite princess.
She was so happy to see her.
Jordan, of course, wanted nothing to do with them all.
So, Ariel blew him a kiss.
Don't think I have ever seen Jordan blush that much.
It was great.

The famous Mickey ice cream bars.
(That cost like fifty stinkin bucks)

Jordan, was also chosen. Actually, these pics are out
of order. Jordan was chosen the first day,
and we had to go back the next for Cody to be chosen.
So here is Jordan doing his "training".

Jordan got to fight Darth Maul.
He looked so awesome.

Nemo ride. We are in a submarine, under water.

As a family, with Mickey.
We had a blast and feel so blessed that we were able to go this year.
Such a great experience and so many fun memories.

We were pooped.....
And we slept like babies...

Easter time....

Easter was fun this year. Not too much fun, without Nathan here.
Our kids were still pretty happy though.
Ashley happy with her basket.

Jordan excited about his Easter basket.

Cody very happy.

We then headed over to grandma and grandpa Petersen's house for dinner.
They suprised the kids with an egg hunt.

They all loved it.

Add ImageWe then we came in to dye eggs with grandma and grandpa.
We made a mess and had a good time.

We are grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ, who died for us
and was resurrected. We are thankful
this time of year, and always try to remember the
true importance of Easter.

Happy Easter!
